GitHub Brand Operations — Live Runner

Hybrid runner for the PREVBRAND → NEWBRAND rebrand. API-supported steps (transfer / fork / delete / grant-collab / org-invite) can execute directly; UI-only steps (create org, rename org, delete org, recipient accepts transfer) open the relevant GitHub UI in a new tab so you can complete them manually. The simulator at index.html remains the safe place to plan.

How this works. This page does not execute anything against GitHub. For each step in the action plan it renders a copy-paste-ready bash command using the right PAT for that actor; you run the command in your own terminal and click Mark done to track progress. The only in-browser request is the Test PATs sanity check, which hits GET /user. Required PAT scopes: repo, admin:org, delete_repo.

Setup

Owner of the source org. Used for steps 3.A.1, 3.B.1, 3.B.2, and step 4 (residual-fork cleanup).
Owner of BArchive0526. Used for step 5 (invite).
Owner of the new clean PreviousBrand org. Used for re-convergence delete/fork steps.
Required for 3.B.3 (accept) and reconvergence steps 1+2 (recipient initiates / cleans). Swap this between recipients as you work through each one.
Exported file is plaintext JSON — handle like a private key. Don't commit, share carefully.

Configuration

Reads a CSV with Public Repos + selected destination columns. Rows with no destination are ignored.
Generates the step list below from these parameters.
